IRS Headliners It's time for those involved in abusive avoidance schemes to make things right. A new Offshore Voluntary Compliance Initiative is underway aimed at bringing taxpayers who used offshore payment cards or other offshore financial arrangements to hide their income back into compliance with the tax law. Just as importantly, it will help get the people promoting these deals. This initiative is aimed at bringing taxpayers who use offshore payment cards or offshore financial arrangements into compliance with tax law. Eligible taxpayers can avoid certain penalties if they come forward, who is not eligible to participate and how to apply for the Voluntary Compliance Initiative along with other important information.
